SafeAir Consultants & Cleaning Inc. recently joined KESCA (Kitchen Exhaust Systems Cleaning Association) in response to the new certification standards put into effect. KESCA goals are to get all cleaning companies to become licensed members and to certify all facilities once they are cleaned to NFPA 96 standards.

KESCA developed a regular maintenance program for restaurants, to inspect and train others to inspect and maintain energy efficient fire preventative programs to ensure that everyone can, in the end, breathe easy.

KESCA is contracting other companies to develop courses teaching the licensing certification process to ensure clean, healthy, energy efficient fire preventative services.

There are over 200,000 restaurants available to the public in Canada with only approximately 76 restaurants exhaust cleaners advertised in the yellow pages.
